Dog Boarding
Whether you need basic
boarding in a fun and safe environment, or you want to pamper
your pet while you are off pampering yourself, The Dog House
Inn of Gilroy is the place for you.
All of our overnight canine guests will enjoy playtime in one
of our huge 4 indoor or 2 outdoor play yards, guided by The Dog
House Inn's expert caretakers. |
After a hard day of
play, each guest will spend a relaxing night whether they prefer
an individual crate, a lengthy dog run or a bedroom suite.
If your dog has trouble socializing with other dogs, please read
about the Board and Behave program
through our training partners, Dog Behavior Rehab. Together
we have successfully rehabilitated hundreds of dogs through
this program, and welcome these dogs back as ÒnormalÓ boarders
regularly. |

Boarding Pick-Up Times:
- All boarding includes: dog daycare, bedding, meal preparation,
and medication administration.
- Proof of updated Rabies, Distemper, and Bordatella vaccines is
required.
- Please package your dogÕs food in Ziploc type plastic bags. You
may bring large 40 pound bags only if your dog is coming for a
stay of 10 days or longer.
- Any guest boarding 5 days or more is welcome to a free bath.
- A daycare charge of $15 will apply for late pick-up (after 10:00am).
- Boarding dogs that are not picked up by 7:00 pm (M-F) or 4:00
pm (Sat-Sun) will be bedded down for the night, and you will be
charged the normal boarding rate for that night.
- A pre-boarding evaluation of 1-2 hours of daycare play is suggested,
if you want your dog to be socially boarded. Please call
to set up an appointment. We charge the standard hourly rate of
$5/hour for this. This will allow your dog(s) to get used to the
idea of being dropped off and picked up from our facility, and
make the transition to boarding stress-free.
- If you know your dog is unfriendly with other dogs, then
please let us know. We will make arrangements for them to be walked
and pottied separately. If you are interested in resolving this
behavior, please ask us about a Dog
Behavior Rehab program that
will fit your dogÕs issues.
Come by for a tour anytime we are open. We are an open door facility.
Please do not bring your dogs with you for the tour.

with you when you come. One form must be filled out for each dog.
